Mary Busse—Support Staff for David L. Lockwood

Mary is a native Chicagoan who has lived in Colorado for over forty years; nineteen of those years working for David Lockwood. Mary has been working in the legal field for over fifty years and in many different legal genres in Illinois, Connecticut and Colorado. She has a certificate in interior design from the Art Institute of Chicago, and has attended the University of Connecticut. She also owned and managed her own secretarial service in Denver for ten years. She currently lives on her small ranch in Castle Rock, where she has raised, shown and bred Arabian horses and Collie dogs.

Mark Donovan—Support Staff for Robert P. Horen and Michelle Barnes Rubin

Mark is a second career employee at Horen, Lockwood & Masters, LLP, working for attorneys Bob Horen and Michelle Rubin for five years. Mark retired from his first career as an elementary school principal in the Aurora Public Schools where he served for 26 years. Mark’s Paralegal Certificate is from Arapahoe Community College. He also has a B. A. in English, an M.A. in Elementary Education and his Ph.D. in Curriculum, Administration and Supervision from University of Colorado.

Mark is the former state president of the Colorado Association of Legal Support Staff and is currently president of the Denver area chapter of the same organization, Mile High Association of Legal Support Staff. He is also serving as a member of the Paralegal Advisory Committee at Arapahoe Community College. He is an avid skier and traveler. His family resides in Denver, Los Angeles, Seattle and New Jersey.

Kathleen A. Liggett—Support Staff for Mark D. Masters

Kathleen is a 2011 graduate of the Arapahoe Community College Paralegal Program. She has a
B. B. A. in Business Administration from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. After college she worked in banking and for an energy company.

Kathleen has two children who attend Parker Core Knowledge School. She is active with dyslexia tutoring.

Sheryl Storey—Support Staff for Mark D. Masters

Sheryl is a native Arizonan who moved to Colorado at age 8. She has lived in Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, California, Washington and Oregon. She has been a paralegal since 1997, having started school in Fresno, California. She has an Associates degree in Management (Dean’s List) and a Paralegal Certificate from Community College of Aurora.

Sheryl has extensive background in administration and station operations in the airline industry. She has three sons, one daughter and three granddaughters. She is a member of the Rocky Mountain Paralegal Association and participates in Emergency Response Training. Her family also includes three dogs and two horses.
